  • Amber Poleviyuma

    FOUNDER

    Amber has volunteered across Northern Nevada as a board member, fundraiser Coordinator, and advocate for local causes. After seeing a need for affordable homeschool resources, she began partnering with others to create fun, enriching, low-cost events for the community.

    A seasoned homeschool mom of three, Sarah is a community builder who opens her home to create welcoming, hands-on learning experiences. From running her family business to managing their farm and hosting co-ops that teach life skills, her passion for education and connection makes her a valued member of our board.

    Faye Simmons

    TREASURER

    Faye is a dedicated homeschool mom, founder of Sage Scouts and Catch 'Em All Crew, and brings strong financial expertise as our treasurer. With a background in accounting and fluency in ASL, she’s passionate about building community and creating meaningful learning experiences.

    Lisa is a dedicated board member, salon owner, and face painter whose organization and energy keep everything running smoothly. As a new homeschool mom, she brings creativity, passion, and a touch of magic to everything she does—making her an incredible asset to our team.

    Bree has nearly 30 yrs of experience working with children. She is known for creating vibrant, hands-on curriculum. As a dedicated homeschool mom and founder of hART to Home, she brings passion, creativity, and heart to every learning experience.

    Katie is a homeschool mom of three and Co-Founder of South Reno Magic School Bus, a free co-op for local families. She’s volunteered as a team mom and rookie ball coach, and loves using her creativity to plan fun events and foster joyful learning. Her passions include art, baking, and bringing the community together.

    Deysi is new to the homeschooling life but loving it so far! You can always catch her with a coffee in hand and loves connecting with new families in our homeschool community. First year sitting as a board member and eager to help bring fun events to the youth in our community.
